De Rerum Natura Candide
De Rerum Natura produces incredible yarns in a sophisticated, modern palette. The yarns are small batch, artisan creations that knit into garments & accessories that will be treasured for a lifetime. Slow fashion is exemplified in the laborious process to spin & dye each of the yarns. All of the unbleached wool in De Rerum Natura yarns come from Arles Marino sheep. The 21.5 micron wool is extremely soft, durable & has a gorgeous elasticity due to the pronounced crimp of the fleece. These happy sheep pasture in the southeast of France with the best possible breeding practices.
Summer calls for relaxed knits that are breathable & feel wonderful to wear. Candide is a sport weight yarn spun with a beautiful blend of organic Merino wool & recycled cotton. The yarn has a gorgeous matte finish with a subtle heathered look. It is spun & dyed in France with natural dyes that give the fiber soft, nuanced shades.
The yarn is wonderful for a variety of knit projects from tees, tanks & sweaters to wraps, scarves & vests.
