Craft: Knitting

This oversized cable-knit turtleneck sweater features a longer back panel and is worked seamlessly from the top down using two strands of yarn held together throughout, beginning at the accentuated shoulder line (French shoulder) located across the upper back. The two sides of the front are knitted outwards from this shoulder line and later joined at the neckline; the front is then worked back and forth down to the armholes, matching the back. Subsequently, the body is worked in the round down to the hem, with the elongated, rounded back hem shaped using short rows. The sleeves are knitted directly onto the body and worked in the round from the top down. The turtleneck collar is also knitted on.
