Craft: Knitting
The sweater, featuring an intarsia or colorwork pattern on the body, is worked seamlessly from the top down, beginning at the accentuated shoulder line (French shoulder) located at the upper back. The two front sections are worked outwards from this shoulder line, with the upper part of the sleeve caps picked up shortly thereafter from the side edges of the front sections. Once the neckline is completed, the work proceeds in the round, incorporating the sleeve caps directly. The sleeves are knitted onto the sweater and also worked in the round from the top down. The neckband is added afterwards.
