Craft: Knitting

This short, oversized sweater features dropped shoulders that are set towards the back; it is worked in one piece from the top down using a textured pattern of knit and purl stitches, beginning at the accentuated shoulder line across the upper back. First, the back section is worked down to the armholes; then, the two sides of the front are worked downwards from the shoulder line and joined to form a single front section once the neckline shaping is complete. Upon reaching the armholes, the front and back are joined and worked in the round. The sleeves are knitted directly onto the body and also worked in the round from the top down. The folded neckband is added afterwards.
