Needle:
US 11/8.00 mm circular needles (40”/100 cm long); or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions:

Gauge:
9-10 sts x 16 rows in Garter stitch = 4”/10 cm square, unblocked
Skill level:
Easy
Techniques:
Garter stitch, Turkish figure-8 cast on, increases, decreases
Construction Notes:
Boum Boum is a reversible hood; constructed with alternating 2-color Garter stitch. Started with a Turkish Figure-8 cast on, work continues flat and top-down with increases in the middle of the work, then continues straight until the neck. Stitches are bound off in the middle and work is divided into 2 pieces. Both tails are worked seperately with decreases at start.
Instead of 2 colors, this hood can be worked with 1 color to have a solid color hood.
