You will need a cable needle.

Gauge

27 stitches and 31 rows = 4 inches in pattern stitch

Needle size

US 3 - 3.25 mm

US 5 - 3.75 mm

You will also need a circular needle, at least 48” (120 cm) long in both US 3 (3.25 mm) and US 5 (3.75) mm.
