Whether you choose to knit it with a single thread for a lighter feel or double the yarn for extra warmth - perhaps as a gift for a fellow “big kid”?

Child’s Question offers an easy yet satisfying knitting experience, whether on the side or if you want to knit a hat for the first time. You work it from the bottom up in a 1x1 rib pattern and shape the crown with single and double decreases. The rib stitch makes it pleasantly stretchy, ensuring a snug, comfortable fit. You decide whether you want a thicker or a lightweight hat, knitting either version 1 with one thread or version 2 with the yarn held double.
