The shawl is worked from the center top-down adding stitches at both ends to achieve its characteristic crescent shape.
Finished Measurements

You will need approx. 710 yards of fingering weight yarn in the following quantities:
Color 1: 250 yards
Color 2: 150 yards
Color 3: 40 yards
Color 4: 50 yards
Color 5: 50 yards
Color 6: 35 yards
Color 7: 85 yards You will only need half of this amount if you don’t make the pompoms.
