Craft: Knitting
This pattern is available on Ravelry.
The Daisy Sweater, designed for little ones, is a playful and joyful take on that classic knit, the raglan sweater, which elevates this basic garment to something of a fairy tale. It is worked seamlessly top down in the round in stockinette stitch, beginning with a ribbed neckband, and continuing with short row neckline shaping and raglan increases to the underarms. Sleeve stitches are then placed on hold to be worked after the body has been completed. Ribbed edges finish the body and the sleeves.
The flowers are worked in two simple steps, with the center knit into the sweater along the way, and the petals embroidered later, onto the finished sweater.
