Craft: Knitting

This pattern is available on Ravelry.

The Dovetail Sweater is a worsted weight colorwork sweater featuring Alegria Grande Bocados! Bocados, Spanish for little bites, are 25g/49yd worsted weight mini-skeins of Alegria Grande. With 10 colors in the Bocados palette, there are plenty of beautiful 5-color combinations to inspire!

Dovetail’s colorwork is written rather than charted, so it’s approachable for any level of colorwork knitter.

Notes

This garment is worked in one piece from the top down with short rows to raise the back neck. After completing the circular yoke, the stitches are divided for working the lower body and sleeves separately in the round from the underarms down.

There are no charts for the colorwork; it is instead written out.

A note about ease: Anaïs is wearing the 34½” Foil version of Dovetail with approximately 2 inches of ease and Kiley is wearing the 42½” Kohl version of Dovetail with approximately 6” of ease.
