Spun & dyed in Creuse, France, Fonty is a family-owned mill focused on producing the finest yarns for hand knitting.
Tartan 3 is a soft, bouncy, DK weight yarn spun with 100% superwash wool. The hand of this yarn is absolutely lovely, with a feel more similar to a non-superwash yarn. The yarn moves beautifully across needles & is a pleasure to work.
Ideal for everything from hats, cowls & mittens to sweaters & cardigans, Tartan 3 has great stitch definition for cables, stranded colorwork & other textured stitches.
The yarn is dyed & then blended to create gradient color groups of three shades- a light, medium & dark. Choose one of the shades or combine to knit gradient color block garments & accessories.
