A longtime source of high quality, Norwegian yarns, Hillesvåg woolen factory is a family-owned spinning mill located in Hjelmås, Norway.  With a passion for beautiful & authentic heritage yarns, the mill has been in use since the late 1800’s.  Spun with Norwegian wool, Hillesvåg yarns are lightweight, yet extremely warm.     

Spun with 100% Norwegian wool, Tinde is a heritage DK weight yarn spun from the wool of a sheep that is a cross between Gotland & Spælsau breeds.  The natural silver grey fleece results in stunning heathered colorways.

Wonderful for stranded colorwork, the yarn comes in an impressive array of colors for sweaters, hats, mittens, socks & cowls.

Light & lofty, with a heritage hand, Tinde knits into garments that are incredibly warm & durable.  Naturally strong, Norwegian wool is known for pilling resistance & shape retention.  It is an ideal choice for heirloom pieces.
