31 (33½, 36¼, 38¾, 41¼, 43¾,) (46½, 49, 51½, 54)“ bust circumference (this is a figurative number based on twice the back measurement at bust level.) Cardigan shown measures 33½”, modeled with 1-2″ ease.
Yarn
The Plucky Knitter Feet (90% merino, 10% nylon; 425 yds /100 g)
Candy Dish 5 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8,) (8, 8, 9, 9) skeins.
Appx 2125 (2300, 2490, 2660, 2835, 3000,) (3195, 3365, 3535, 3700) yds—exact yardage will vary!
Needles
Size 4 (3.5 mm) 29” circular (cir) and set of double pointed (dpns). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Markers (m); stitch holders/waste yarn; tapestry needle.
Gauge
25 sts and 34 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch, 29 sts and 34 rows = 4” in Slip Stitch pattern

Notes
This cardigan is worked flat from the bottom up as follows: The body is cast on and worked back and forth up to the armholes where the back/fronts are worked separately. The collar is worked at the same time as the body. Short rows are used to shape shoulders which are then joined with a 3 needle bind off. Collar is continued and seamed at back neck. Sleeves are picked up from armholes, shaped with short rows and worked down in the round.
