Craft: Knitting
This loose-fitting, buttoned jacket is knitted throughout using two strands of yarn held together. Work begins with the back panel, which is knitted from the bottom up and finishes with slanted shoulders (accentuated by a narrow cable detail). The front panels are then knitted downwards, picking up stitches from the back shoulders; as these fronts have no shoulder shaping, the jacket’s accentuated shoulder line sits slightly towards the back. Narrow horizontal cable details also accent the sleeve cuffs, the front bands (knitted sideways onto the body), and the double-layered stand-up collar. The lengths of the body and sleeves can easily be adjusted to personal preference.
