Craft: Knitting

This sporty, oversized sweater features a stand-up collar and dropped shoulders that are set towards the back; it is knitted in one piece from the top down, starting at the accentuated shoulder line across the upper back, with the entire body worked in Como Grande yarn. First, the back is worked down to the armholes; then, the two sides of the front are knitted downwards from the shoulder line and joined to form a single front section once the neckline shaping is complete. Upon reaching the armholes, the front and back are joined and worked in the round. The sleeves are knitted directly onto the body using the finer Como yarn and worked top-down in the round, while the cuffs are knitted in Como Grande to provide a contrast.
