Olive’s Classic Rib is a simple and classic ribbed sweater with a mock turtleneck worked from the top down using 1 strand of Heavy Merino. The neckline is shaped with German short rows and the yoke with raglan increases. The sleeves are worked in the round.

Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino (125 m 137 yd / 50 g 1.8 oz), worsted-weight yarn,

3 mm / US2.5, 3.5 mm / US4 and 4 mm / US6 circular needles, and 4 mm / US6 double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge

(after blocking): 23 sts and 29 rows = 10 cm 4” in 2x2 rib pattern with 4 mm / US6 needles
