A tall hat with just a hint of slouch and a peaked crown, with a sturdy garter stitch brim and colorwork band. Inspired by both seasonal colors and simple Nordic colorwork design.

Yarn

Peace Fleece Worsted

Native / Non-Native American fine wool and Texas Mohair 200 yards per 4 oz skein

MC: Negotiation Grey, 1 skein or approx. 90 (110) yds of worsted weight yarn

CC1: Sheplova Mushroom, 1 skein or approx 20 (25) yds of worsted weight yarn

CC2: Baltic Blue, 1 skein or approx 10 (15) yds of worsted weight yarn

CC3: Evening Marigold, 1 skein or approx. 5 (10) yds of worsted weight yarn

Needles

US 10 6mm: 16” circ, and DPNs for crown shaping.

Gauge

16 sts and 20 rounds = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette and stranded colorwork, after gently wet-blocking
