Craft: Knitting

This sporty, casual sweater features a round neckline and dropped shoulders that are set back; the armholes are accentuated by a vertical strip of garter stitch. It is knitted in one piece from the top down, starting at the highlighted shoulder line across the upper back. First, the back is worked down to the armholes; then, the two sides of the front are knitted downwards from the shoulder line and joined to form a single front section once the neckline shaping is complete. Upon reaching the armholes, the front and back are worked together in the round. The sleeves are knitted directly onto the body and worked downwards in the round. The folded neckband is added afterwards.
