Craft: Knitting
This pattern is available on Ravelry.
Snow Vest is worked from the bottom up, both flat and in the round, holding 1 strand of Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair together throughout. The vest features a Fair Isle winter landscape with snow and fir trees all around the bottom of the body.
You start working the body in the round up to the underarms. Here, work is divided and front and back are finished separately working back and forth while shaping armholes and neckline at the same time. Stitches for the neckband and armhole edges are picked up and finished in rib. The Fair Isle pattern is charted only
