Craft: Knitting

The TAILORED DANDY jacket with classical lapels, buttons and pockets is worked from the bottom up in seed stitch. It is worked in one piece up to the armholes, then the different sections are continued separately. On the front sections, the bottom corners are tapered and the buttonholes are incorporated into the work. The back section has sloped shoulders, while the front sections are worked slightly longer and end in a straight line, allowing the shoulder seams to be shifted slightly to the back. The collar is then worked directly onto the body while the sleeves are worked separately and set in. The pockets are sewn on at the end.
