Tillage

This pattern is available on Ravelry.

by Jared Flood

The Tillage pullover features bold cable panels and plenty of gansey-inspired texture. In DK weight, worsted- spun Arbor yarn, the stitches remain crisp and elastic, adding to the sweater’s wearability. With spare shaping and instructions for two different collars and hems, Tillage has all the makings of a favorite sweater for any style preference.

The front, back, and raglan-shaped sleeves are knit separately, in flat pieces then sewn together. With an optional split hi-lo hem, Tillage can be customized to best flatter the wearer. The cables along the body and the raglan-shaped shoulders are charted. Stitches are picked up at the neckline after seaming to form the collar which can be worked as a funnel neck or doubled over for a classic crewneck.

Please note: the stitch patterns for this garment are charted only.
