A pattern featuring NORO yarn Sonata.

Ridged leaf motifs in SONATA #6 Teal, created by working into the back loops, form the outsize flower petals of Epstein’s crochet blanket. Small puff-stitch circle motifs, crocheted in #39 Barley, form the flowers’ center discs. Additional circles in #19 Chartreuse and #30 Catmint radiate from the center to kaleidoscopic effect. Each motif is bordered in chain-stitch mesh, which is also used to join the motifs.

• 45 x 62in/114 x 157cm.

• One small circle = approx 6½in/16.5cm in diameter using size US G-6/4mm hook.

• One small leaf = approx 20in/25.5cm long and 4½in/11.5cm at widest section.
