colors Hillesvåg Vilje 413 Heathered Light Grey,
Hillesvåg Sølje 2103 Cognac
Designer Isabell Kraemer creates wonderful sweaters that are a pleasure to knit & wear. Nasrin is a modern, stranded colorwork sweater knit in two traditional Norwegian yarns.
Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (Woolen Factory) is a family-owned spinning mill located in Hjelmås, Norway. With a passion for beautiful & authentic heritage yarns, the mill has been in use since the late 1800’s. Spun with Norwegian wool, Hillesvåg yarns are lightweight, yet extremely warm.
Worked seamlessly from the top down, Isabell knit Nasrin with Hillesvåg Vilje as the main color & Hillesvåg Sølje as the contrast color. The sweater may be knit using one or both. It really depends on your choice of color. Both yarns are fingering weight with Vilje being spun with lambswool & Sølje spun with Norwegian pelt wool, a heritage yarn spun from the wool of a sheep that is a cross between Gotland & Spælsau breeds.
