One of our favorite woolen-spun, American produced yarns is back in action! After a many month hiatus, Brooklyn Tweed Quarry has returned in a reimagined palette of wearable neutrals.
Quarry is a velvety soft (23-24 micron) blend of American sourced, spun & dyed Targhee-Columbia wool. Woolen-spun for lightness & maximum warmth, the chunky weight yarn knits up quickly into gorgeous pullovers, cozy cardigans & outfit making accessories.
Plump & lofty, Quarry blooms beautifully when blocked & wears very well. The 3-ply, roving-style yarn has nice, round stitch definition for cables, textured stitch patterns & stranded colorwork.
We went to the Brooklyn Tweed archives to highlight some of our favorite Quarry patterns from 2018 & earlier. So pull out the size US 10-11 needles & get ready to have some knitting fun.
