The Warmth of Icelandic Wool

Incredibly warm & sturdy, Lopi Lettlopi is an authentic Icelandic yarn that reflects the beautiful, yet rugged landscape of the country. The rustic, worsted weight yarn has a heritage hand & is ideal for stranded colorwork. Wool from Iceland has incredible resistance to wind & moisture, while also being pleasantly thermoregulating.

The Leimu Mittens by designer Ronja Hakalehto are both beautiful & functional. Based in Northern Finland, Ronja is surrounded by unspoiled nature. Her patterns possess a lovely simplicity; meant to be enjoyed every day.

Each mitten is knit bottom-up, in the round, starting with the ribbed cuff. The pattern is written for Magic Loop, but double point needles are easily substituted. The pair of mittens require just 1 ball each of two colors.
